Coagulative Necrosis

Coagulative necrosis, depicted in the images below, can be identified by increased eosinophilia due to denaturation of proteins, loss of normal basophilia imparted by RNA degeneration. Some nuclear changes also take place in myocardial fibers. Interstitial neutrophilic infiltrate is seen in between the dead muscle fibers.
