Thiosulphate Citrate Bile Salt Sucrose Agar (TCBS), depicted in the images below, is a selective and differential medium for growth of Vibrio cholera, which gives yellow colored colonies, and other Vibrio species, e.g. Vibrio parahemolyticus, which gives green colored colonies.
